The Perfect Wedding Nail Design for Your Big Day

Home / Uncategorized / The Perfect Wedding Nail Design for Your Big Day

It’s a week before the big day and your nail appointment is quickly approaching. Do you have your wedding nail design picked out yet? If not and you’re not sure what to choose, there are many different options you can pick from. To narrow down your options, think about what type of bride you are. Whether you are more of the traditional and classic bride or you like to think outside the box, there is a style for everyone when it comes to nail art.

Classic wedding nail design

Traditional brides tend to go with more neutral or pastel colors, as not to draw too much attention away from the dress. French tip manicures are the perfect example of a classic style nail design. The clean and sophisticated look of the french tip design is elegant enough for the big event but won’t take away from the bride’s dress. If you want to add a little pop of color, use a light or neutral color found in your floral choices as inspiration.

Use bolder colors

If you want to add a bolder pop of color, there are many options to take inspiration from. To compliment your wedding color palette, use one of your main colors for your nails. Use the bolder colors from your bridesmaids’ dresses, your flower bouquet, or even the groom’s tie. Another fun idea is to use your nail design as your “something blue” tradition. Be careful not to choose any color that will clash with your wedding color palette.

Use nail art to express yourself

Nail art is the perfect way to add a little personality to your wedding design. Painted designs or the use of nail gems can exaggerate a solid nail color. Gems and beads add a little bling to your nails. If you choose an acrylic manicure, 4D acrylic nail art can be a fun way to add more bling to a solid color. Depending on how bold you want your nail design to be, you can add nail art to one or all of your nails as an accent to the color.

Whether you decide to choose a classic look or a more bold design, remember that it is your day to shine. Choose the design that will make you feel your best on the big day. Find inspiration for the nail color and design from the elements and colors of your wedding. You can find inspiration in patterns of your dress or even through the theme of your wedding. If you have a beach themed wedding, you can use tones found on the beach line for your nail color. You can also use beach themed nail art to compliment your wedding theme.

Have fun with your bridal nail appointment. Your nails are the perfect way to add your personality to your bridal outfit. As you find inspiration, take your ideas to your nail technician and enjoy a relaxing spa day with your bridal party. The perfect wedding nail design will help you shine with confidence as you make your way down the aisle.
