Nail Art Hacks for the Perfect Design

Home / Uncategorized / Nail Art Hacks for the Perfect Design

Do you want to create the perfect design on your at-home manicure, but feel intimidated by the process? With these nail art hacks, you will find it easier than you think to create many different patterns and designs. Get ready to get creative and give your basic homemade manicure a pop of personality.

When deciding on a design to create on your nails, the options are endless. You can create different shapes, colors, and patterns with a few simple tools and a collection of nail polish colors. You can even create a pattern on each individual nail. If these options seem complicated and difficult to achieve free handed, use these nail art hacks to easily achieve that perfect look.

French Tip Nail Art Hacks

The French tip manicure is a classic, clean design that will never go out of style. You can go with a more natural look with white tips, or add a pop of color to each nail with colored tips. But how do you get those perfect tips without smearing the polish? You may use the old trick of adding tape across each nail to create a perfectly straight line. However, if you want to follow the natural curve of your nails, the straight tape simply will not work. Try using bandaids or paper hole reinforcements instead. The rounded edges of these two options allow you to mimic the natural curve of your nails, while also creating a crisp line between the tip and the rest of the nail bed. Simply line the rounded edges up with the natural curve of your nail, paint the tips of your nails, and gently pull the bandaid or paper hole reinforcements away from the nail.

Use Tools to Create Nail Art

Instead of trying to freehand your design onto each nail, use nail art tools to help you create your art. Dotting tool sets are sold online and come with different sizes of dotting ends. Dotting tools help you create all kinds of designs including flowers, animals, characters, and patterns. You can even make your own dotting tools with small household items like bobby pins and sewing pins.

Perfect Glitter Nails Hack

If you have ever used glitter nail polish, you know how hard it is to create the perfect glitter nail. Glitter nail polish is usually difficult to evenly distribute the amount of glitter onto the nail. To solve this problem, try using a makeup sponge to evenly apply glitter to your nails. Paint a generous amount of glitter polish onto a makeup sponge, dab the painted sponge onto each nail, and repeat this process until you are satisfied with the amount of glitter coverage. The makeup sponge helps to evenly distribute the glitter across the entire nail bed, creating the perfect glitter nail.

Create Cute Shapes

There is an even easier way to create designs than using dotting tools. Try using a hole punch and tape to create cute shapes. Find a hole punch shape that you love and use it to punch a hole into the tape. Place the tape onto the nail and paint inside the shape with your desired color. Gently peel the tape from the nail and show off your perfect designs.

The nail art hacks are the perfect way to add a little bit of flair to a boring manicure. If you want nail designs that you can do yourself, these simple hacks will make it easier for you to achieve. Add your personality to your nail designs and share your new tricks with friends and family.
